Event Policies

IPEC is actively monitoring the incidence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the United States. IPEC is following guidance from local public health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding face maskssocial distancing, and large gatherings, including CDC recommendations on preventing the spread of COVID-19.

At this time, upcoming IPEC events will take place in-person as planned.

Attendees should also:

  • Socially distance when possible;
  • Stay home if sick or exposed to COVID-19; and
  • Consult with a healthcare provider about attending if you have underlying health conditions or a weakened immune system.

IPEC will continue to closely monitor news, local government, and the CDC for the most current guidance regarding gatherings.

We are hopeful that we can meet safely in-person, following the most up-to-date safety protocols.

Social distancing, wearing masks indoors, asking participants to provide a copy of their COVID-19 Vaccination Card, or other safety measures (i.e. testing prior to arrival, rapid testing on-site) may be required for participation in the event. A negative test result will be accepted in lieu of proof of full vaccination (full vaccination means with a booster shot). More details will be sent to all registered attendees.

We appreciate your understanding and willingness to be flexible while we work within the limitations set by our obligations and the current pandemic.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Should registration numbers not be robust enough to support a meaningful experience for all attendees, IPEC has the right to cancel the conference. For events that are canceled due to any other event that is beyond our control (Act of God, etc.) IPEC will refund all registration costs. IPEC will not be responsible for refunding other costs incurred by attendees connected to attending the event.

COVID-19 Refunds: We understand that we are living in a world where large in-person events are being guided by local health authorities. In the event public health dictates that we are not able to gather and IPEC is forced to cancel the event, we will refund registration fees (less a $25 administrative fee).
