About the 2022 IPEC ILDP

Join us June 22-24, 2022 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta, GA

The ILDP supports IPEC's goal to prepare leaders to advance interprofessional education (IPE) and interprofessional practice (IPP) efforts within their institutions.

The theme for this year’s ILDP is Interprofessional Education for Collaborative Practice: Leadership Strategies for Bridging the Gaps.

Audience

  • Leaders, directors, and program coordinators responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of campus-wide IPE initiatives
  • Residency/fellowship leaders in IPE for collaborative practice

Goals

  1. Identify common gaps between IPE and collaborative practice (CP).
  2. Foster a dialogue about bridging these gaps between educators and practitioners.
  3. Evaluate the applicability of successfully bridging gaps at other institutions to one’s home institution.
  4. Engage in problem-solving discussions with other participants.
  5. Develop a plan to bridge a gap at one’s home institution

The ILDP is facilitated by the Academy for Advancing Leadership and includes internationally recognized IPE leaders.

Planning Through a Pandemic: A Note Regarding COVID-19

At this time, the 2022 IPEC ILDP is planning to be an in-person event. We want you to know that your safety, and the safety of all attendees, remains our top priority. While the 2022 IPEC ILDP will not be canceled, it may become necessary at some point for the format to change (online/virtual) dependent on the guidance in the State of Georgia, local health departments, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Please note that safety measures, including social distancing, wearing masks, asking participants to provide a copy of their COVID-19 Vaccination Card, or other safety measures (i.e. testing prior to arrival, rapid testing on-site) may be added prior to the event. We appreciate your understanding and willingness to be flexible while we work within the limitations set by our obligations and the current pandemic.

Thank you again for your support, and thank you for your patience during this complex process.

Please review the Event Policies page for more details.
