The 2025 Call for Abstracts Is Open!

The National Academies of Practice (NAP) invites you to submit abstracts for their educational sessions [platform/oralsymposium/panelworkshop and poster] at the 2053 NAP Annual Forum, held March 14-15, 2025, in Washington, DC.

The deadline to submit an abstract is September 2, 2024.

The National Academies of Practice (NAP) is the alliance of healthcare professionals who are collaborating to transform health and wellbeing. We are dedicated to advancing health and wellbeing through patient-centeredness and inclusivity, which we believe are in the best interest of individuals and communities.

You are invited to submit abstracts for educational sessions (lightning talks, roundtables, workshops, and posters) at the 2025 NAP Annual Meeting and Forum, which seeks to promote collaboration across and among individuals engaged in interprofessional practice within clinical, educational, scholarship, research, and/or policy settings.

The Forum is designed to empower individuals and collaborative teams, with emphasis on the following four themes: Health Communication/Health LiteracyOverall Health and WellbeingEvidence-based Screening and Prevention; and Healthcare Access and Quality.
 

The four themes of the 2025 Annual Meeting and Forum reflect the four core areas of the NAP Strategic Interprofessional Initiative. The Strategic Interprofessional Initiative, focusing on the Social Determinants of Health, aims to explore a culture of cross-academy collaboration throughout the National Academies of Practice and to demonstrate interprofessional best practices and expertise in education, scholarship, research, practice, and public policy. 

Forum Outcomes

  • Enhance Interprofessional Collaboration: Attendees will gain knowledge and skills to effectively collaborate with professionals from diverse healthcare disciplines; improving health outcomes through integrated care approached.
  • Facilitate Interprofessional Networking: Attendees will engage in networking activities designed to build professional relationships and collaborative opportunities in interprofessional healthcare.
  • Inspire Innovation within Thematic Areas: Attendees will explore innovative strategies related to the Forum themes, empowering them to implement new ideas and drive advancements in interprofessional education, scholarship, research, practice, and public policy.
